What do I have to satisfy for multistate privilege to apply in Florida?

  • Meet home-state licensure requirements.
  • Graduate from a board-approved program or an approved international program verified by an independent credentials review agency.
  • Pass applicable English proficiency examination for international education not taught in English or non-native English speakers.
  • Pass NCLEX-RN or NCLEX-PN, or recognized predecessor.
  • Be eligible for or hold an active, unencumbered license.
  • Submit to state and federal fingerprint-based criminal background checks.
  • Have no disqualifying felony conviction, finding of guilt or agreed disposition under state or federal law.
