Any agency utilizing out of state EMS Compact providers must add the PTP provider to their roster as described below. For the purposes of safety or spot inspections regional EMS council staff will verify a PTP provider's status via their home state's certification and your agency's PTP roster in the EMS Registry. The EMS agency medical director is responsible for credentialing a PTP provider via the same process as they credential the agency's other EMS personnel, specifically at the ALS level.
