Calculators and checklist

Offer and expense values in the calculator are used in your browser to calculate a comparison. The site code does not submit those entries to a calculator service. The offer checklist keeps checked items in the current page; it does not save progress across reloads. If you copy or print its summary, your browser and device handle that destination.

Other Offshore Medic pathway choices, such as held credentials and selected course prices, last only while that page is open. They reset when it reloads.

Certificate expiry dates saved in your browser

The Offshore Medic pathway saves certificate expiry dates you enter in this browser’s local storage for this site. The dates remain after you close the tab. The site code reads them back on that pathway page and does not send them to a site service. Clear a date field to remove that date, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove all saved expiry dates. This browser storage is available to scripts running on this site in that browser.

Search links and calculator links

Job filters are reflected in the page URL; the “Copy search link” control shares the selected state, role, employer, keyword, employment type, and freshness filter. Search terms can appear in browser history and in the link you share. Avoid putting names, contact details, or other sensitive information in a search field.

When you choose eligible published job offers for comparison, the calculator link can include the employer/job label and published hourly lower-end rate. Calculator values you type yourself are not added to that link. Page paths and query parameters are sent as part of ordinary page requests to the hosting provider.

The Go bag and crossing checklists save checked items in the part of the URL after #. Copying the full link includes those choices. That fragment is not sent with ordinary page requests, but is visible to someone who receives the link and to scripts on the page.

Hosting, analytics, and outside links

Kinetic Clinician is built as a static site and hosted on Vercel. The current site code contains no analytics or advertising tags and does not set its own cookies. This describes the app code, not every browser, network, or hosting-provider operation. Vercel describes processing request information such as IP addresses, usage information, and logs in its Privacy Notice.

Employer, licensing, and training links take you to other organizations. Their sites have separate privacy practices and may receive information from your browser when you visit them. Review their notices before submitting information. If you email a correction through the link on the About page, the information you send is handled by your email provider and the recipient.
